Jewellery that 'falls' into the mood

Posted by on

With a whole month of 'routine' under our belt ( + i say that with adverted commas as our September was anything but routine-like) we find ourselves at the start of a new month + here in Belfast the turn of the season happens fast- temperatures drop and you simply have to dress differently to how you did just weeks before. Extra layers, (maybe not your thermal one quite yet) and a jacket become necessity. There might also be a shift in the jewellery you reach for aswell; it might not seem obvious at first that it's happening, but i bet it is. Maybe instead of more summery dainty necklaces, you go for statement earrings cos now you're wearing a jumper and your hair is up ... or maybe.. more rings cos you want to embellish the end of your knitted jumper cuff.

As i plan for our AW24 shoot, i'm kind of snooping around for an autumnal looking pulse out there - and a few thigs have caught my eye.  I think a new season can give us a reason to feel around for what little tweaks we're craving. Here are some ideas i've collected of jewellery that fits the fall mood lately.

Earthy Stones
I just loved the general mood of our Tiger's eye launch last Autmnn. Perfect hues for the turn of the season. These slash patterned stones just scream autumn.

Okay is there something about 'Silver that contrasts all that earthiness' or is it just me? how good is this silver pop @ameliialea
Finally, 'long cord pendants that fit over all our layers.' We went cord - mad this summer + now we can keep wearing them)
My daughter snapped this "faceless but get the necklace in it" pic in exchange for a cappuccino, i kid you not:)
