That day in the calendar called "Mothering Sunday" is nearly here. As a Mum, i recognise it's not a one-size-fits-all celebratory day. It's a good day and tricky day. I shared a little bit about my story, here. 

It strikes me, as i read your reactions to the words in the poem ( we are sending out with all your orders in March, see last 2 photos below) that there are so many other types of mummy hearts out there to be heard, seen and validated. 

We are cheering on all kinds of Mama hearts and absolutely celebrating Doggie Mamas this Mothers Day.  

We decided that in the spirit of all said above, we'd like to visit some local doggie Mamas and let me tell you, we didn't have to look far. First up, Bonnie is a Morkie to doggie Mama Paloma. You may well have seen Paloma's artwork in our studio. We're big fans! She's an artist in our building (Portview in Belfast) and her massive, heavily layered paintings are scattered around our studio.  I couldn't possibly decide on one photo from this mini shoot to share with you.. you'll see why.. so here's them all; get ready for the cuteness.

After leaving Bonnie and her bling, we dandered down the corridor to another doggie named Tilly. Before we moved into our bigger downstairs studio, we were upstairs right beside Tilly and her Mama, Sharon who handmakes beautiful bespoke bridal accessories and sells them globally. "Little Tilly is a total dolly mixture," Sharon says, "her dad was Cavalier Kind Charles and her mum was a half Bichion, half Westie. LOL. She's ridculously cute!" Aw, just look at her in the Hetta as neckcoil on her Mamas workstation.
